Dan Norton

Dan Norton is entering his tenth season as the director and a head coach in the Mass Ducks AAU basketball organization. Dan has coached thirty two Mass Ducks teams to date. He is currently the girls varsity assistant coach at Milton Academy and the head coach of the Pembroke 8th grade A level travel team. Before returning to Milton Academy, he was the girls varsity and head JV coach for Fontbonne Academy for the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 seasons. He was the Milton Academy girls JV basketball coach for the 2008-2009 basketball season. He was the manager of the Anna Maria Women's Basketball team for two seasons and has worked at numerous clinics and camps. Dan was in the NBA Basketball Hall of Fame for being the 2002 Knights of Columbus state free throw shooting champion. Dan is a graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School where he was a basketball captain and played all twelve athletic seasons of his high school career in basketball, baseball, and cross country. He was given the coaches award in basketball and cross country as a senior.

Dan was the president of the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Honor Society in 2009 at Anna Maria College where he graduated in the spring of 2009 with degrees in Business Management and Management Information Systems. He graduated with the highest possible academic honor, Summa Cum Laude, in the ninety-ninth percentile of all students at Anna Maria College with a 3.92 GPA.
