Welcome to the Mass Ducks AAU
Basketball Website!
The Mass Ducks organization prides itself in teaching
the importance of teamwork, individual skill, hard work,
and sportsmanship. Our goal as an organization is for
our players to leave our program better people as well
as better players. We, as an organization, believe
positive reinforcement is an essential aspect of
successful coaching. Even though winning is a major
piece of a successful program, the primary goal of our
organization is for all of our players to improve their
individual and team-based skills. We DO NOT allow
parents to coach their children. All our coaches are
hand selected and trained by program
director Dan Norton.
The Mass Ducks
organization also believes in the importance of
education. We support all our players in their academics
and express to them that they are student
athletes, and the student comes first. The Ducks
organization will gladly help our players in any way we
can with their schoolwork or with their college
endeavors upon request. Mass Ducks players come from
various towns and school districts around southeast
Massachusetts including Abington, Braintree,
Brookline, Canton, Dedham, Dorchester,
Easton, Franklin, Hanover, Hingham, Holbrook, Hopkinton, Hull, King Phillip, Marshfield,
Milton, Needham, North Attleboro, Pembroke, Quincy,
Randolph, Rockland, Roslindale, South Boston, Stoughton,
Walpole, Wellesley, West Roxbury, Westwood, Weymouth, & Wrentham.
Player and parent
satisfaction is very important to us as an organization.
Therefore, we are very proud to say
72
of our players from our spring 2009 season
returned for our fall 2009 season!
